Registration Policies

Eligibility: all amateur golfers are permitted to join our tournaments. ANYONE is eligible unless you hold PGA Professional status. If you are currently a collegiate golfer, you are ineligible for prize money winnings in our tournaments even though you are eligible to participate.  There are no age or gender limits, however all male golfers will be required to play from the same tournament tees and all women will be required to play from the same tournament tees.  No official GHIN handicap will be required, but understand there are no flights in our tournaments.  All scoring is pure stroke play unless the format is otherwise noted.

Cancellation Policy:  all players who register can cancel up to the registration deadline for a partial refund.  100% refunds will be given to players who cancel one full calendar week before the registration deadline.  Golfers who cancel within the week of the registration deadline will receive a 50% refund.  Any golfer who cancels after the registration deadline will not receive any refund.  If you feel there are special circumstances out of your control, please contact us at thebaseballgolfer@gmail.com and we will do our best to accommodate you.  Your registration is transferrable to another golfer should you find a replacement for yourself.

Rules:  all tournaments will follow USGA rules.  Players are 100% expected to understand all golf rules and exceptions will be notified at specific tournaments and/or courses.  These tournaments rely heavily on the honor system.  If you are caught cheating, a penalty of 250% of your entry fee will be required immediately and you will face a lifetime ban from the tournament series.  If we can't have integrity in the game, we can't compete in a way that is fun for everybody.

Winnings: each tournament will have a pot of winnings.  Certain tournaments will vary in their payout and how many players are eligible for winnings.  Our tournaments are designed to be fair prices for tournament entry fees, but also designed to have a large portion of your entry fee go towards a purse for the playing field.  This adds to the competitive spirit.
